महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-7, verse-15

रूपमैश्वर्यमारोग्यमहिंसाफलमश्नुते ।
फलमूलाशिनां राज्यं स्वर्गः पर्णाशिनां तथा ॥१५॥
15. rūpamaiśvaryamārogyamahiṁsāphalamaśnute ,
phalamūlāśināṁ rājyaṁ svargaḥ parṇāśināṁ tathā.

phalamūlāśinām rājyam svargaḥ parṇāśinām tathā

15. One obtains beauty, prosperity, and health as the fruit of non-violence (ahiṃsā). A kingdom is gained by those who subsist on fruits and roots, and similarly, heaven (svarga) by those who subsist on leaves.
