धनं लभेत दानेन मौनेनाज्ञां विशां पते ।
उपभोगांश्च तपसा ब्रह्मचर्येण जीवितम् ॥१४॥

14. O lord of the people, one obtains wealth through giving (dāna), and command through silence. Enjoyments are gained through austerity (tapas), and long life through celibacy (brahmacarya).
