महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-34, verse-11

ब्राह्मणादेव तद्भूतं प्रभवन्ति यतः प्रजाः ।
यतश्चायं प्रभवति प्रेत्य यत्र च गच्छति ॥११॥
