महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-154, verse-8

ततस्त्वादाय दारूणि गन्धांश्च विविधान्बहून् ।
चितां चक्रुर्महात्मानः पाण्डवा विदुरस्तथा ।
युयुत्सुश्चापि कौरव्यः प्रेक्षकास्त्वितरेऽभवन् ॥८॥
8. tatastvādāya dārūṇi gandhāṁśca vividhānbahūn ,
citāṁ cakrurmahātmānaḥ pāṇḍavā vidurastathā ,
yuyutsuścāpi kauravyaḥ prekṣakāstvitare'bhavan.

8. Thereafter, the great-souled Pandavas and Vidura, having gathered much various wood and fragrances, prepared a funeral pyre. Yuyutsu, the Kuru prince, also joined them, while the others remained as mere spectators.
