महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-154, verse-30

भीष्मं हि कुरुशार्दूलमुद्यतेषुं महारणे ।
न शक्तः संयुगे हन्तुं साक्षादपि शतक्रतुः ॥३०॥
30. bhīṣmaṁ hi kuruśārdūlamudyateṣuṁ mahāraṇe ,
na śaktaḥ saṁyuge hantuṁ sākṣādapi śatakratuḥ.
30. bhīṣmam hi kuruśārdūlam udyateṣum mahāraṇe na
śaktaḥ saṃyuge hantum sākṣāt api śatakratuḥ
30. hi śatakratuḥ api sākṣāt mahāraṇe saṃyuge
udyateṣum kuruśārdūlam bhīṣmam hantum na śaktaḥ
30. Indeed, even Śatakratu (Indra) himself would not be able to kill Bhishma, the tiger among the Kurus, who held his arrows ready, in the great battle.
