सम्यक्प्रणयतो दण्डं भूमिपस्य विशां पते ।
युक्तस्य वा नास्त्यधर्मो धर्म एवेह शाश्वतः ॥२२॥

22. O lord of the people, for a king who administers punishment (daṇḍa) correctly, or for one who is righteous, there is no unrighteousness. On the contrary, this is indeed the eternal natural law (dharma).
