महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-70, verse-27

प्रवर्तनाद्द्वापरस्य यथाभागमुपाश्नुते ।
कलेः प्रवर्तनाद्राजा पापमत्यन्तमश्नुते ॥२७॥
27. pravartanāddvāparasya yathābhāgamupāśnute ,
kaleḥ pravartanādrājā pāpamatyantamaśnute.

kaleḥ pravartanāt rājā pāpam atyantam aśnute
