महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-64, verse-7

उदाहृतं ते राजेन्द्र यथा विष्णुं महौजसम् ।
सर्वभूतेश्वरं देवं प्रभुं नारायणं पुरा ।
जग्मुः सुबहवः शूरा राजानो दण्डनीतये ॥७॥
7. udāhṛtaṁ te rājendra yathā viṣṇuṁ mahaujasam ,
sarvabhūteśvaraṁ devaṁ prabhuṁ nārāyaṇaṁ purā ,
jagmuḥ subahavaḥ śūrā rājāno daṇḍanītaye.

mahojasam sarvabhūteśvaram devam
prabhum nārāyaṇam purā jagmuḥ

7. O best of kings, it has been recounted to you how, in ancient times, many valiant kings approached Vishnu, the mighty one, the lord of all beings, the divine supreme lord Narayana, for the sake of the principles of governance (daṇḍanīti).
