O Yudhiṣṭhira, just as there was formerly a renowned tradition concerning the Brahmins engaged in spiritual pursuits (dharma) and for the three (other) social classes (varṇa), so too, among the duties of kings (rājadharma) here, it is unequalled and beneficial to the world through good conduct.
