महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-301, verse-7

श्रोत्रमध्यात्ममित्याहुर्यथाश्रुतिनिदर्शनम् ।
शब्दस्तत्राधिभूतं तु दिशस्तत्राधिदैवतम् ॥७॥
7. śrotramadhyātmamityāhuryathāśrutinidarśanam ,
śabdastatrādhibhūtaṁ tu diśastatrādhidaivatam.
