महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-167, verse-6

ततोऽभ्ययाद्देवराजो विरूपाक्षपुरं तदा ।
प्राह चेदं विरूपाक्षं दिष्ट्यायं जीवतीत्युत ॥६॥
6. tato'bhyayāddevarājo virūpākṣapuraṁ tadā ,
prāha cedaṁ virūpākṣaṁ diṣṭyāyaṁ jīvatītyuta.
6. tataḥ abhyayāt deva-rājaḥ virūpākṣa-puram tadā
prāha ca idam virūpākṣam diṣṭyā ayam jīvati iti uta
6. tataḥ tadā deva-rājaḥ virūpākṣa-puram abhyayāt ca
virūpākṣam idam prāha "diṣṭyā ayam jīvati iti" uta
6. Then, at that time, Indra, the king of the gods, approached Virupaksha's city. And he said this to Virupaksha: 'Fortunately, this one (the crane king) lives!'
