महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-148, verse-21

न निःशेषेण मन्तव्यमचिकित्स्येन वा पुनः ।
न जातु नाहमस्मीति प्रसक्तव्यमसाधुषु ॥२१॥
21. na niḥśeṣeṇa mantavyamacikitsyena vā punaḥ ,
na jātu nāhamasmīti prasaktavyamasādhuṣu.
21. na niḥśeṣeṇa mantavyam acikitsyena vā punaḥ na
jātu na aham asmi iti prasaktavyam asādhuṣu
21. na niḥśeṣeṇa vā punaḥ acikitsyena mantavyam na
jātu asādhuṣu na aham asmi iti prasaktavyam
21. One should not consider (a fault or condition) as entirely beyond remedy or incurable. Likewise, one should never associate with wicked people, thinking, 'I am not like them.'
