महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-17, verse-24

सोऽब्रवीज्जातसंरम्भस्तदा लोकगुरुर्गुरुम् ।
प्रजाः सृष्टाः परेणेमाः किं करिष्याम्यनेन वै ॥२४॥

24. so'bravījjātasaṁrambhastadā lokagururgurum ,
prajāḥ sṛṣṭāḥ pareṇemāḥ kiṁ kariṣyāmyanena vai.

24. Then, becoming enraged, he (Śiva), the teacher of the world, spoke to the teacher (Brahmā): "These beings have been created by another; what shall I indeed do with this (liṅga)?"
