सोऽब्रवीत्पितरं दृष्ट्वा गिरिशं मग्नमम्भसि ।
यदि मे नाग्रजस्त्वन्यस्ततः स्रक्ष्याम्यहं प्रजाः ॥१३॥

13. so'bravītpitaraṁ dṛṣṭvā giriśaṁ magnamambhasi ,
yadi me nāgrajastvanyastataḥ srakṣyāmyahaṁ prajāḥ.

13. saḥ abravīt pitaram dṛṣṭvā giriśam magnam ambhasi yadi
me na agrajaḥ tu anyaḥ tataḥ srakṣyāmi aham prajāḥ

13. saḥ ambhasi magnam pitaram giriśam dṛṣṭvā abravīt yadi
me anyaḥ agrajaḥ tu na tataḥ aham prajāḥ srakṣyāmi

13. Having seen his father, Giriśa, submerged in water, he (the new creator) said, 'If there is no elder brother for me other than you, then I shall create beings.'
