तद्वनं बलमेघेन शरधारेण संवृतम् ।
व्यरोचन्महिषाकीर्णं राज्ञा हतमहामृगम् ॥२६॥

26. That forest, enveloped by a cloud of soldiers and a shower of arrows, shone, though it was (now) filled with buffaloes and its great deer had been slain by the king.
