महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-63, verse-16

दूरस्थान्सायकैः कांश्चिदभिनत्स नरर्षभः ।
अभ्याशमागतांश्चान्यान्खड्गेन निरकृन्तत ॥१६॥
16. dūrasthānsāyakaiḥ kāṁścidabhinatsa nararṣabhaḥ ,
abhyāśamāgatāṁścānyānkhaḍgena nirakṛntata.

abhyāśam āgatān ca anyān khaḍgena nirakṛntata
16. That best of men pierced some of the distant animals with arrows, and others who had approached nearby, he cut down with a sword.
