महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-63, verse-23

केचिदग्निमथोत्पाद्य समिध्य च वनेचराः ।
भक्षयन्ति स्म मांसानि प्रकुट्य विधिवत्तदा ॥२३॥
23. kecidagnimathotpādya samidhya ca vanecarāḥ ,
bhakṣayanti sma māṁsāni prakuṭya vidhivattadā.
23. kecit agnim atha utpādya samidhya ca vanečarāḥ
bhakṣayanti sma māṃsāni prakuṭya vidhivat tadā
23. Then, some of the forest-dwellers, having produced fire and kindled it, and having properly cut up the meat, were eating it at that time.
