महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-63, verse-10

सुदूरमनुजग्मुस्तं पौरजानपदास्तदा ।
न्यवर्तन्त ततः पश्चादनुज्ञाता नृपेण ह ॥१०॥
10. sudūramanujagmustaṁ paurajānapadāstadā ,
nyavartanta tataḥ paścādanujñātā nṛpeṇa ha.

nyavartanta tataḥ paścāt anujñātāḥ nṛpeṇa ha
10. Then, the citizens and rural folk followed him for a great distance. Afterwards, having been granted leave by the king, they indeed returned from there.
