महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-194, verse-17

विक्रमेण मही प्राप्ता भरतेन महात्मना ।
विक्रमेण च लोकांस्त्रीञ्जितवान्पाकशासनः ॥१७॥
17. vikrameṇa mahī prāptā bharatena mahātmanā ,
vikrameṇa ca lokāṁstrīñjitavānpākaśāsanaḥ.

17. The great-souled Bharata acquired the earth through his valor. And Indra, the destroyer of Pāka (Pākaśāsanaḥ), conquered the three worlds through his valor.
