महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-168, verse-8

सौदासोऽहं महाभाग याज्यस्ते द्विजसत्तम ।
अस्मिन्काले यदिष्टं ते ब्रूहि किं करवाणि ते ॥८॥
8. saudāso'haṁ mahābhāga yājyaste dvijasattama ,
asminkāle yadiṣṭaṁ te brūhi kiṁ karavāṇi te.

asmin kāle yat iṣṭam te brūhi kim karavāṇi te
8. O venerable one, O foremost among brahmins, I am Saudāsa, and I am to be served by you (as a sacrificer). Tell me what you desire at this moment; what can I do for you?
