महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-168, verse-11

इक्ष्वाकूणां तु येनाहमनृणः स्यां द्विजोत्तम ।
तत्त्वत्तः प्राप्तुमिच्छामि वरं वेदविदां वर ॥११॥
11. ikṣvākūṇāṁ tu yenāhamanṛṇaḥ syāṁ dvijottama ,
tattvattaḥ prāptumicchāmi varaṁ vedavidāṁ vara.
11. ikṣvākūṇām tu yena aham anṛṇaḥ syām dvijottama
tat tvattaḥ prāptum icchāmi varam vedavidām vara
11. But, O foremost among brahmins (dvijottama), by which means I may be freed from the debt to the Ikṣvāku lineage, that boon I wish to obtain from you, O best among the knowers of the Vedas.
