अथ क्रमेण तेनैव सरागो मे विरागताम् ।
आययौ हिमदग्धाया नलिन्या इव नीरसः ॥ ११ ॥

Then, by that very process, my affection (rāga) turned into dispassion (virāga), becoming dry and lifeless just like a lotus-flower scorched by frost becomes sapless.
