The conscious ether (cidākāśa) alone manifests uniformly within the self (ātman) in that very same way. This intrinsic nature (svabhāva), which is known as creation (sarga), is consciousness (caitanya) itself; it is the Lord (īśvara) because it is of the nature of pure consciousness (cit).
