योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-28, verse-8

कर्मैव पुरुषो राम पुरुषस्यैव कर्मता ।
एते ह्यभिन्ने विद्धि त्वं यथा तुहिनशीतते ॥ ८ ॥

karmaiva puruṣo rāma puruṣasyaiva karmatā ,
ete hyabhinne viddhi tvaṃ yathā tuhinaśītate 8

8. karma eva puruṣaḥ rāma puruṣasya eva karmatā
ete hi abhinne viddhi tvam yathā tuhina-śītatate

8. rāma karma eva puruṣaḥ,
puruṣasya eva karmatā.
tvam hi ete abhinne viddhi,

8. O Rāma, action (karma) itself is the individual (puruṣa), and the individual's (puruṣa's) nature is indeed action (karma). Know that these two are indeed non-different, just as snow and coldness are.
