चित्त्वं च क्वचिदस्पन्दं क्वचित्स्पन्दं स्वभावतः ।

12. The nature of consciousness (cit-tva), by its very essence, is sometimes motionless and sometimes pulsating. It is infinite, like a single ocean, existing pervading the sequence of space and time.
