मुनिरुवाच ।
वर्तमाने तदा तस्मिन्कष्टे संभ्रान्तसंभ्रमे ।
उह्यमानोऽहमत्यन्तं खेदमभ्यागतोऽभवम् ॥ १ ॥

muniruvāca ,
vartamāne tadā tasminkaṣṭe saṃbhrāntasaṃbhrame ,
uhyamāno'hamatyantaṃ khedamabhyāgato'bhavam 1

uhyamānaḥ aham atyantam khedam abhyāgataḥ abhavam

1. The sage said: At that time, while that distressing situation, which caused great confusion and panic, was ongoing, I became exceedingly distressed, overwhelmed by it.
