योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-70, verse-9

आत्मारामतया जीवो यात्यसंसङ्गतामिह ।
आत्मज्ञानेन संसङ्गस्तनुतामेति नान्यथा ॥ ९ ॥
ātmārāmatayā jīvo yātyasaṃsaṅgatāmiha ,
ātmajñānena saṃsaṅgastanutāmeti nānyathā 9
9. ātmārāmatayā jīvaḥ yāti asaṃsaṅgatām iha
ātmajñānena saṃsaṅgaḥ tanutām eti na anyathā
9. iha ātmārāmatayā jīvaḥ asaṃsaṅgatām yāti
ātmajñānena saṃsaṅgaḥ tanutām eti na anyathā
9. By being content in the self (ātman), the individual soul (jīva) achieves detachment in this world. Through the knowledge of the self (ātman), worldly attachment diminishes, and not by any other means.
