योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-38, verse-26

तस्मात्प्रयामि पातालं बोधयाम्यसुरेश्वरम् ।
स्थैर्यं यामि न संसारलीलां संपादयाम्यहम् ॥ २६ ॥
tasmātprayāmi pātālaṃ bodhayāmyasureśvaram ,
sthairyaṃ yāmi na saṃsāralīlāṃ saṃpādayāmyaham 26
26. tasmāt prayāmi pātālam bodhayāmi asura-īśvaram
sthairyam yāmi na saṃsāra-līlām sampādayāmi aham
26. tasmāt aham pātālam prayāmi asura-īśvaram bodhayāmi
sthairyam yāmi aham saṃsāra-līlām na sampādayāmi
26. Therefore, I shall go to the netherworld (pātālam) and awaken the lord of the asuras. I shall attain steadfastness; I myself will not engage in the cosmic play (līlā) of transmigration (saṃsāra).
