कदाचिदथ मार्गेण तेन कैलासवासिनीम् ।
अहं स्नातुमदृश्यात्मा व्योमवीथीगतोऽगमम् ॥ १ ॥
कदाचिदथ मार्गेण तेन कैलासवासिनीम् ।

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Once, then, I, whose self was invisible (adṛśyātman) and who traversed the sky-path (vyomavīthī), went along that path to the goddess who dwells in Kailāsa (Kailāsavāsinī), in order to bathe.
