O Rāma, just as drops of spray, whirlpools, and waves (sīkarāvartalaharībindavaḥ) are [manifestations] of water (payasaḥ), so too all perceptions of the seen (dṛśyadṛṣṭayaḥ) have arisen from (brahman).
