भुवि भोगा न रोचन्ते स जीवन्मुक्त उच्यते ॥ ८ ॥

One for whom worldly pleasures (bhogāḥ) on earth do not appeal, even without any specific external reason such as the pursuit of fame (yaśaḥ), is called a liberated soul (jīvanmukta) while living.
