योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-2, verse-26

अहं हि राजपुत्राणां रामादीनां मनस्तमः ।
ज्ञानेनापनयाम्याशु दीपेनेव निशातमः ॥ २६ ॥
ahaṃ hi rājaputrāṇāṃ rāmādīnāṃ manastamaḥ ,
jñānenāpanayāmyāśu dīpeneva niśātamaḥ 26
26. aham hi rājaputrāṇām rāmādīnām manastamaḥ
jñānena apanayāmi āśu dīpena iva niśātamaḥ
26. aham hi jñānena rājaputrāṇām rāmādīnām manastamaḥ āśu apanayāmi,
dīpena iva niśātamaḥ.
26. Indeed, I shall swiftly dispel the mental darkness (manastamas) of these princes, beginning with Rāma, through knowledge (jñāna), just as the darkness of night is removed by a lamp.
