aham hi jñānena rājaputrāṇām rāmādīnām manastamaḥ āśu apanayāmi,
dīpena iva niśātamaḥ.

Indeed, I shall swiftly dispel the mental darkness (manastamas) of these princes, beginning with Rāma, through knowledge (jñāna), just as the darkness of night is removed by a lamp.
