वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-41, verse-25

एष मे परमः कामो यन्मूलफलभोजिषु ।
अप्येकरात्रं काकुत्स्थ वसेयं पुण्यशालिषु ॥२५॥
25. eṣa me paramaḥ kāmo yanmūlaphalabhojiṣu ,
apyekarātraṃ kākutstha vaseyaṃ puṇyaśāliṣu.
25. eṣa me paramaḥ kāmaḥ yat mūlaphala-bhojiṣu
api ekarātram kākutstha vaseyam puṇyaśāliṣu
25. kākutstha eṣaḥ me paramaḥ kāmaḥ yat api
ekarātram puṇyaśāliṣu mūlaphala-bhojiṣu vaseyam
25. O Kakutstha, this is my highest desire, that I might dwell even for one night among the meritorious (sages) who subsist on roots and fruits.
