वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-98, verse-16

यो न शक्यः सुरैर्हन्तुं न यक्षैर्नासुरैस्तथा ।
सो ऽयं कश्चिदिवासत्त्वो मृत्युं मर्त्येन लम्भितः ॥१६॥
16. yo na śakyaḥ surairhantuṃ na yakṣairnāsuraistathā ,
so'yaṃ kaścidivāsattvo mṛtyuṃ martyena lambhitaḥ.
16. yaḥ na śakyaḥ suraiḥ hantum na yakṣaiḥ na asuraiḥ tathā
saḥ ayam kaścit iva asattvaḥ mṛtyum martyena lambhitaḥ
16. He who could not be killed by the gods, nor similarly by yakṣas or asuras (demons), that very one, as if devoid of inner strength, has been made to obtain death by a mortal.
