वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-110, verse-5

सहैभिरर्दिता लङ्का निर्जिता राक्षसेश्वर ।
हृष्टैः प्राणभयं त्यक्त्वा संग्रामेष्वनिवर्तिभिः ॥५॥
5. sahaibhirarditā laṅkā nirjitā rākṣaseśvara ,
hṛṣṭaiḥ prāṇabhayaṃ tyaktvā saṃgrāmeṣvanivartibhiḥ.
5. saha ebhiḥ arditā laṅkā nirjitā rākṣaseśvara
hṛṣṭaiḥ prāṇabhayam tyaktvā saṅgrāmeṣu anivartibhiḥ
5. rākṣaseśvara ebhiḥ hṛṣṭaiḥ prāṇabhayam tyaktvā
saṅgrāmeṣu anivartibhiḥ laṅkā arditā nirjitā
5. O lord of rākṣasas, Laṅkā was afflicted and conquered by these joyful ones, who, having abandoned the fear of life, never retreated in battles.
