रामेण हि महत् कर्म कृतं त्वामभिनिघ्नता ।
आनृण्यं तु गतं तस्य सुग्रीवस्य प्रतिश्रवे ॥१८॥

18. Indeed, a great act was performed by Rama by striking you down. But his (Rama's) obligation (ānṛṇyam), made in accordance with Sugriva's vow, has now been fulfilled.
