वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-36, verse-8

बालो ऽप्येष महातेजाः समर्थस्तस्य निग्रहे ।
गमिष्ये राममादाय स्वस्ति ते ऽस्तु परंतपः ॥८॥
8. bālo'pyeṣa mahātejāḥ samarthastasya nigrahe ,
gamiṣye rāmamādāya svasti te'stu paraṃtapaḥ.
8. bālaḥ api eṣaḥ mahātejāḥ samarthaḥ tasya nigrahe
gamiṣye rāmam ādāya svasti te astu paraṃtapaḥ
8. eṣaḥ bālaḥ api mahātejāḥ samarthaḥ tasya nigrahe
rāmam ādāya gamiṣye paraṃtapaḥ te svasti astu
8. Even this boy, despite his youth, possesses great energy (tejas) and is capable of restraining that demon. I shall take Rama and depart. May all be well with you, O tormentor of enemies!
