वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-36, verse-18

एवमस्मि तदा मुक्तः सहायास्ते निपातिताः ।
अकृतास्त्रेण रामेण बालेनाक्लिष्टकर्मणा ॥१८॥
18. evamasmi tadā muktaḥ sahāyāste nipātitāḥ ,
akṛtāstreṇa rāmeṇa bālenākliṣṭakarmaṇā.
18. evam asmi tadā muktaḥ sahāyāḥ te nipātitāḥ
| akṛtāstreṇa rāmeṇa bālena akliṣṭakarmaṇā

18. Thus, I was then released, but my companions were struck down by that boy Rama, who had not yet mastered weapons and whose actions (karma) were effortless.
