वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-36, verse-10

तं तदा दण्डकारण्ये यज्ञमुद्दिश्य दीक्षितम् ।
बभूवावस्थितो रामश्चित्रं विस्फारयन्धनुः ॥१०॥
10. taṃ tadā daṇḍakāraṇye yajñamuddiśya dīkṣitam ,
babhūvāvasthito rāmaścitraṃ visphārayandhanuḥ.

babhūva avasthitaḥ rāmaḥ citram visphārayan dhanuḥ
10. tadā daṇḍakāraṇye yajñam uddiśya dīkṣitam tam

10. Then, (when) that sage (Viśvāmitra) was consecrated for the Vedic ritual (yajña) in the Daṇḍaka forest, Rama stood there, marvelously stretching his bow.
