वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-28, verse-10

पापमाच्चरतां घोरं लोकस्याप्रियमिच्छताम् ।
अहमासादितो राजा प्राणान् हन्तुं निशाचर ॥१०॥
10. pāpamāccaratāṃ ghoraṃ lokasyāpriyamicchatām ,
ahamāsādito rājā prāṇān hantuṃ niśācara.

aham āsāditaḥ rājā prāṇān hantum niśācara
