वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-23, verse-26

दुष्प्रेक्ष्यः सो ऽभवत् क्रुद्धो युगान्ताग्निरिव ज्वलन् ।
तं दृष्ट्वा तेजसाविष्टं प्राव्यथन् वनदेवताः ॥२६॥
26. duṣprekṣyaḥ so'bhavat kruddho yugāntāgniriva jvalan ,
taṃ dṛṣṭvā tejasāviṣṭaṃ prāvyathan vanadevatāḥ.
26. duṣprekṣyaḥ saḥ abhavat kruddhaḥ yugāntāgniḥ iva jvalan
taṃ dṛṣṭvā tejasā āviṣṭaṃ prāvayathan vanadevatāḥ
26. saḥ kruddhaḥ yugāntāgniḥ iva jvalan duṣprekṣyaḥ abhavat.

26. He became enraged and formidable to behold, blazing like the fire at the dissolution of a cosmic age. Seeing him thus imbued with fiery energy, the forest deities trembled.
