वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-97, verse-17

न दोषं त्वयि पश्यामि सूक्ष्ममप्यरि सूदन ।
न चापि जननीं बाल्यात्त्वं विगर्हितुमर्हसि ॥१७॥
17. na doṣaṃ tvayi paśyāmi sūkṣmamapyari sūdana ,
na cāpi jananīṃ bālyāttvaṃ vigarhitumarhasi.
17. na doṣam tvayi paśyāmi sūkṣmam api ari-sūdana
na ca api jananīm bālyāt tvam vigarhitum arhasi
17. ari-sūdana,
aham tvayi sūkṣmam api doṣam na paśyāmi.
tvam ca bālyāt api jananīm vigarhitum na arhasi.
17. O destroyer of enemies, I see no fault, not even a subtle one, in you. Nor should you blame your mother (Kaikeyī), even if it were due to her immaturity or ignorance (bālyāt).
