वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-97, verse-10

तदानुपूर्व्या युक्तं च युक्तं चात्मनि मानद ।
राज्यं प्राप्नुहि धर्मेण सकामान् सुहृदः कुरु ॥१०॥
10. tadānupūrvyā yuktaṃ ca yuktaṃ cātmani mānada ,
rājyaṃ prāpnuhi dharmeṇa sakāmān suhṛdaḥ kuru.
10. tadā ānupūrvyā yuktam ca yuktam ca ātmani mānada
rājyam prāpnuhi dharmeṇa sakāmān suhṛdaḥ kuru
10. mānada tadā ānupūrvyā yuktam ca ātmani ca yuktam
rājyam dharmeṇa prāpnuhi sakāmān suhṛdaḥ kuru
10. O respected one, then, obtain this kingdom, which is in due order and fitting for your own self (ātman). Rule in accordance with natural law (dharma), and fulfill the desires of your friends.
