वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-105, verse-16

नैतच्चित्रं नरव्याघ्र शीलवृत्तवतां वर ।
यदार्यं त्वयि तिष्ठेत्तु निम्ने वृष्टिमिवोदकम् ॥१६॥
16. naitaccitraṃ naravyāghra śīlavṛttavatāṃ vara ,
yadāryaṃ tvayi tiṣṭhettu nimne vṛṣṭimivodakam.
16. na etat citram naravyāghra śīlavṛttavatām vara
yat āryam tvayi tiṣṭhet tu nimne vṛṣṭim iva udakam
16. naravyāghra śīlavṛttavatām vara etat na citram
yat āryam tu tvayi nimne vṛṣṭim iva udakam tiṣṭhet
16. O tiger among men, O best among those of good conduct and character, it is no wonder that nobility should reside in you, just as water from rain naturally collects in a low-lying area.
