वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-54, verse-6

अभ्यधावत् सुसंक्रुद्धं वसिष्ठं जपतां वरम् ।
हुंकारेणैव तान् सर्वान्निर्ददाह महानृषिः ॥६॥
6. abhyadhāvat susaṃkruddhaṃ vasiṣṭhaṃ japatāṃ varam ,
huṃkāreṇaiva tān sarvānnirdadāha mahānṛṣiḥ.

6. a hundred of Viśvāmitra's sons, exceedingly furious, rushed towards Vasiṣṭha, the foremost among chanters. The great sage (ṛṣi) then burned all of them down with a mere roar (huṃkāra).
