यदस्या निर्गतं तस्मात्तप्तजाम्बूनदप्रभम् ।

18. yat (tejaḥ) tasmāt asyāḥ nirgatam,

kāñcanam amalam śubham hiraṇyam dharaṇīm prāptam (abhavat).

18. Whatever flowed from her (Gaṅgā) from that embryo, shining with the luster of refined gold, became pure and auspicious gold when it reached the earth.
