श्रुत्वा त्वग्निवचो गङ्गा तं गर्भमतिभास्वरम् ।
उत्ससर्ज महातेजाः स्रोतोभ्यो हि तदानघ ॥१७॥

17. śrutvā tvagnivaco gaṅgā taṃ garbhamatibhāsvaram ,
utsasarja mahātejāḥ srotobhyo hi tadānagha.

17. anagha! tu śrutvā agnivacaḥ,

17. Indeed, having heard Agni's words, Gaṅgā, the one of great effulgence, then discharged that exceedingly brilliant embryo from her streams, O sinless one.
