मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-5, verse-7

इन्द्रशत्रुरमेयात्मा त्वष्टृतेजोपबृंहितः ।
अहन्यहनि सोऽवर्धदिषुपातं महाबलः ॥७॥
7. indraśatrurameyātmā tvaṣṭṛtejopabṛṃhitaḥ .
ahanyahani so'vardhadiṣupātaṃ mahābalaḥ.
7. indraśatruḥ ameyātmā tvaṣṭṛtejopabṛṃhitaḥ
ahanyahani saḥ avardhat iṣupātam mahābalaḥ
7. He, the enemy of Indra, possessing an immeasurable nature (ātman) and bolstered by Tvaṣṭā's power, grew immensely day by day, becoming exceedingly powerful.
