मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-5, verse-11

तच्छक्रदेहविभ्रष्टं बलं मारुतमाविशत् ।
सर्वव्यापिनमव्यक्तं बलस्यैवाधिदैवतम् ॥११॥
11. tacchakradehavibhraṣṭaṃ balaṃ mārutamāviśat .
sarvavyāpinamavyaktaṃ balasyaivādhidaivatam.
11. tat śakradehavibhraṣṭam balam mārutam āviśat
sarvavyāpinam avyaktam balasya eva adhidaiwatam
11. That power (bala) which had fallen from Indra's body entered Marut, who is the all-pervading, unmanifest presiding deity of strength itself.
