मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-5, verse-19

अक्षौहिण्यो हि बहुलास्तद्भारार्ता व्रजाम्यधः ।
तथा कुरुध्वं त्रिदशा यथा शान्तिर्भवेन्मम ॥१९॥
19. akṣauhiṇyo hi bahulāstadbhārārtā vrajāmyadhaḥ .
tathā kurudhvaṃ tridaśā yathā śāntirbhavenmama.
19. akṣauhiṇyaḥ hi bahulāḥ tatbhārārtāḥ vrajāmi adhaḥ
tathā kurudhvam tridaśāḥ yathā śāntiḥ bhavet mama
19. Indeed, the many armies (akṣauhiṇīs) are such a heavy burden, causing me distress, that I am sinking to the netherworld. Therefore, O gods, act in such a way that I may find peace.
